View the Changing Landscape of AIDS Memorials [SLIDESHOWS]

I don't feel anything when I visit many of the AIDS Memorials that are some sort of art installation. They seem to be look at me the artist or our committee is smarter than you are so we know art - Palm Springs and it's ode to bottoms post White Party - and I don't know how anyone who didn't go through the terrible years will be able to understand what we went through and what it's like to be a long term survivor. The AIDS Grove in San Francisco and the memorial in Stanley Park speak to me.
