This is a much-needed and commendable step by the NIH. Funding research into Post-Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome (PTLDS) is crucial, as many patients continue to suffer from debilitating symptoms long after their initial treatment. More scientific insights and targeted clinical trials will bring much-needed relief and better diagnostic tools for the community. Looking forward to seeing the outcomes of these funded projects.
